Getting Started
Make sure you have an Aeria Games account. If you need one, you can register here.
Start up the PC client and log in using your Aeria account.
Choose your Dreamlord's gender and color:
Choose your race.
With your Dreamlord selected right-click the ground near the girl to walk towards her.
Let your Dreamlord continue to attack them until they are ridden.
Colored sections of the map can be explored, while gray sections remain locked. Gray sections become unlocked as you defeat all the Nightmares in an adjacent section.
If done successfully, you should see several green circles surrounding the selected units.
Move your selected army towards the red dots on the mini-map at the northwest and southwest corners of the town and rid the monsters in both locations.
After talking to the two town leaders, return back to the center of town to talk to the Town Leader.
This completes the second tutorial.
On the victory screen, click the next key until it returns back to the Patria view. You should NOT dissolve the rewards of the mission.
These workers need to be assigned a job. This is where the strategy begins.
You need to decide which buildings to put them in.
Your buildings may look differently depending on your race.
Assign workers by clicking the appropriate building then click the Hire Workers button.
Each building has a maximum number of workers. The more workers in a particular building, the faster they can complete research on new technologies.
After hiring workers for the building, begin research on a technology.
Click the research tab in the right panel.
Move the mouse over any technology and find one that you'd like to research and click on it.
The Technology Details panel will pop up. This will show what the technology does and how long it will take to complete research. Remember: The more workers you have the faster they will be able to research new technology.
Click the Research button to begin research on that technology.
A green triangle will appear on the image of the building. This indicates that research is ongoing.
Moving the mouse cursor over the building will display how much time is remaining before research is complete.
Pay close attention to homeless followers.
Homeless followers cannot do any work. Build houses for these followers, they will be converted to unemployed workers.
Click the Build Housing button.
Each house supports 5 workers, and you start with 10 homeless followers. The starting cost of a house is 5 soul shards and this value will increase as you gain more and more houses.
After you build houses to support these new workers, be sure to hire them into your buildings.
You should be off to a good start now! Return to the PC client and move to the Crossroad area on the Patria View and start fighting some Nightmares!

First Tutorial
Find the Rune Stone
- Click on your Dreamlord.
- Right-click on the stone with the tower of light.
Move the Camera
Hold the CTRL key and press the arrow keys or press the middle mouse key and move the mouse around. If the task does not complete, it's okay. Walk your Dreamlord south and the next task will begin.Talk to the Child
Right-click on the little girl farther towards the south. If you accidentally de-select your Dreamlord, just left-click on him/her again.Play Hide and Go Seek
Look at the mini-map in the lower left of the screen. Find the single blue dot. That's the the little girl. Left click the single blue dot on the minimap to jump the camera to the hiding little girl.With your Dreamlord selected right-click the ground near the girl to walk towards her.
Get Rid of the Nightmares
While your Dreamlord is selected, right-click on the monsters that approach you to attack them.Let your Dreamlord continue to attack them until they are ridden.
Follow the Girl to Her Father
With your Dreamlord selected, right-click on the ground near the girl to approach her. As the girl moves, click near her destination to follow her to her father near the south west area of the map.Save the Village from the Monster Onslaught
Move towards the Nightmares and attack them. They are indicated by red dots on your mini-map.Move to Your Patria
After reading the tutorial text, you should be viewing the Patria.

- Double-click on the territory called "Masters of the City".
- After your Dreamlord moves to the center of the area, the left panel will show a button labeled "Attack". Click that button to launch the second tutorial mission.
Second Tutorial
Listen to the Protectors of the City
Select your Dreamlord and move him/her towards the two blue dots on the mini-map in the center of the town.
Take the City Guard and Rid the Monsters
Hold down the left mouse button and drag it to form a rectangle surrounding your Dreamlord and the City Guard.If done successfully, you should see several green circles surrounding the selected units.
Move your selected army towards the red dots on the mini-map at the northwest and southwest corners of the town and rid the monsters in both locations.
Persuade the Masters of the City
Move your army to the town leaders. They should be located at the southwest and northeast corners of the city.After talking to the two town leaders, return back to the center of town to talk to the Town Leader.
This completes the second tutorial.

Visit the Patria Manager
Click the Patria Manager launcher icon (4th circle from the left). This will launch your web browser.
Assign Workers
